Chicky is going away to Italy, Sicily, Tunisia, and Spain!

Epolito's will be closed from March 20th to May 4th (Hey, we'd like to stay open but there's only one Chicklena to go around and she needs her holidays!).

We’re changing our opening days over winter. From late June we’ll be open on Sundays and closed on Tuesdays.

Our last Tuesday is 23 June, and our first Sunday is 28 June. Confused? Check our amended opening hours.

Epolito's in Food2Go magazine

We’re featured in the latest Food2Go magazine...

Chicklena Rose of Epolito’s ... took out the 2007 Peroni Pizza Challenge, a national competition organised by Touch of Italy.

As a result their business suddenly cranked up to full gear as customers queued for literally hours just to buy a pizza, many of them from the Auckland suburb of Onehunga where Epolito’s is based, all keen to celebrate that a local pizzeria had put their suburb on the map.

Chicklena says: “They loved it. Even people that never even came to get pizza before, who just used to go to the dairy, came and got pizza.”

"While the overall consensus was a big thumbs up for each of the finalists, the judges finally gave the nod to Rewa Muriwai and Chicklena Rose from Epolito’s Pizzeria in One Tree Hill." Yeah!

Epolito's will be closed from June 7 to July 16.

Chick is taking a well deserved break and is heading back to the states to catch up with her family. She will also be travelling around the local pizzerias and bakeries to pick up on the latest and greatest food ideas.
