We’re featured in the latest Food2Go magazine...

Chicklena Rose of Epolito’s ... took out the 2007 Peroni Pizza Challenge, a national competition organised by Touch of Italy.

As a result their business suddenly cranked up to full gear as customers queued for literally hours just to buy a pizza, many of them from the Auckland suburb of Onehunga where Epolito’s is based, all keen to celebrate that a local pizzeria had put their suburb on the map.

Chicklena says: “They loved it. Even people that never even came to get pizza before, who just used to go to the dairy, came and got pizza.”

We're back home. Exhausted but pleased to have represented New Zealand at the International Pizza Challenge. Although we didn't win we were pleased to have placed fourth internationally. It's official, you can enjoy world-class pizza right here in Aotearoa!

We'll be battling the best international pizza chefs today in the International Pizza Challenge. Wish us luck!

We'll be in Las Vegas from the 15th to the 27th of March representing New Zealand in the international Pizza Challenge

"While the overall consensus was a big thumbs up for each of the finalists, the judges finally gave the nod to Rewa Muriwai and Chicklena Rose from Epolito’s Pizzeria in One Tree Hill." Yeah!
